Foundation flashing

The drive up had some lovely views, with snow still at higher elevations. The whole family came today. Siggy took his RC truck over some rad jumps. Okay, down to work. We tore off the temporary plastic foundation we left in the fall, and installed the lovely fabricated metal foundation flashing. The goofball who ordered the stuff forgot to account for the overlap, so we have to have one more sheet made. Oops. Christina cleaned up the rest of the house (upstairs and the back half of downstairs). Microwaving some Trader Joe's chow at 8:30, with a pink sunset vanishing over the horizon and Venus glowing brightly.

Crawlspace party

Friday We got back up and got half of the crawlspace covered in plastic, glued down to the footer. It actually snowed pretty heavily in the afternoon! Sunday Got back down to the crawlspace and covered the remainder of the dirt with plastic. Now the crawlspace is "done", so we shouldn't see new mold problems. Still need to have someone come out and extra-murder any mold we missed. With that wrapped up, we collected a few more final window measurements. I need to get the order in, because they're 6-8 weeks away.
